Ford Heavy Line Technician - Planet Ford Dallas

We are looking for a Heavy Line Technician to join our team.

You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs. Only those who value integrity and ethics need apply.

Relocation Reimbursement Plans Available

Heavy Line Technician Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes and air conditioning to required specifications.
  • Perform vehicle inspection to identify necessary repairs.
  • Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary and applicable repair work.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for service repairs.
  • Participate in on-going company and manufacturing training and education programs, to stay current and abreast of changing technology.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Ford Certified Technician, with 1 year experience..
  • Able to work on heavy vehicles with heavy duty parts
  • Self-starter and ability to be a great team player.
  • Clean driving record required.
