 An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic teachers to join CATS Academy Boston from September 2024. 


CATS Academy Boston combines the experience and values of a traditional American boarding school with a state-of-the-art campus. The main building offers outstanding spaces to develop and nurture creative independent thinking.


CATS Academy is a private boarding High School that offers a range of school programs.  At the heart of our ethos is the recognition of Academics, Arts and Athletics.  Our personalized approach to learning ensures students achieve the best grade possible and work in partnership. We help them prepare for and select the best degree program at the best university to suit their strengths and career aspirations.
 

Our staff will be prepared to teach well-developed lessons which enthuse and inspire students and promote the enjoyment of learning.  The well-qualified candidate will be able to appropriately differentiate learning to meet all students' learning styles with an appreciation for learning and language differences. 


Full-time teachers are expected to plan, prepare, and teach well-developed lessons that enthuse and inspire students and promote their enjoyment of learning. They effectively and appropriately differentiate instruction to meet all student learning styles with an appreciation for student learning differences. Full-time teachers provide all students, but especially their advisees, with educational guidance and general counselling in a supportive manner that recognizes individual student needs.

Requirements

Applicants should be educated to degree level. You will need to have natural enthusiasm for your subject and a genuine desire to work with young people. 


 Accommodation (if required) is offered within our boarding houses. Suitable applicants interested in taking this option will also help with boarding duties, developing pastoral care skills and experience. Please note accommodation for successful applicants will be dependent on availability.
