Bloomingdale Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our remote team in providing high-quality therapeutic services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and clinical interviews to develop and adapt individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment interventions.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, protecting patient confidentiality and ensuring accuracy in records.
  • Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary treatment team through case consultations and peer reviews, enhancing the quality of care for each patient.
  • Provide educational support to patients and their families, offering insight into mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to aid in recovery.
  • Engage with up-to-date research and advances in mental health care, applying this knowledge to inform treatment practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
  • Strong understanding of solution-focused therapies and a commitment to providing personalized care tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationships with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills essential for navigating complex clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in community health or outpatient care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and the documentation processes associated with them.
