Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Analyst, Strategy As an Analyst, Strategy you will serve as a key influencer of data-driven decision-making, helping shape long-term growth and operating efficiency across Arcwood. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Strategy you will support enterprise-wide initiatives including strategic planning, growth projects, market intelligence and value creation efforts.
You will be responsible for bridging complex datasets and actionable business strategies while collaborating directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including operations, commercial, and functional departments.
Keys to success in this highly-visible role are strong data visualization and technical skills, coupled with the ability to effectively collaborate to develop strategies that drive performance, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Conducts deep quantitative and qualitative analyses to support market entry decisions and operating model optimization
  • Leads market intelligence by performing market sizing, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to shape growth strategies and emerging trends
  • Translates market and customer insights into clear recommendations that inform commercial and investment decisions
  • Develops robust business cases and scenario analyses for capital investments and expansion opportunities
  • Assists with annual strategic planning, budgeting and long-range forecasting processes
  • Tracks market-driven performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities impacting growth and margin
  • Collaborates with Transformation, Value Creation, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Prepares Board-ready presentations and automated dashboards for senior leadership
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field (required)
- MBA (preferred)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or related role (required)
  • Advanced analytics experience utilizing Tableau or Power BI (required)
  • Exposure to the environmental services industry or industrial production and process industries (preferred)
