About the RoleThe Director of Talent Acquisition leads a critical talent engine that directly enables Sierra Space's mission, growth, and competitive advantage. This role partners closely with senior leaders to translate business priorities into workforce strategy, ensuring we attract and hire the talent needed to advance next-generation space technologies and expand our proven defense and civil capabilities.Our mission is driven by an unyielding commitment to advancing space-based technology in service of our customers and safeguarding national security. Responsibilities
Lead and evolve Sierra Space's talent acquisition strategyas a mission-criticalcapability, aligned to business priorities and workforce planning.
Partner with senior leaders,executives, and HRBPstodevelopproactive, high-quality talent pipelines aligned to current and future workforce needs.
Lead and develop a high-performing recruiting team,driving accountability, capability building, and operational excellence.
Build and strengthen high-quality talent pipelines, elevate Sierra Spaces' employer brand, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our mission and values.
Strengthen recruiting operations through scalable processes,structuredhiring frameworks, anddata-informeddecision tools.
Establish andmonitorkey recruiting metrics and dashboards, including pipeline health, time to fill, and quality of hireto drive continuous improvement.
Leveragerecruiting analytics and marketintelligenceto inform hiring strategies,improve outcomes, andanticipatetalent needs.
Embed AI and automation across the recruiting lifecycle to improve sourcing, screening, decision-making, and overall hiring effectiveness.
Oversee university partnerships, internships, and early career recruiting programs.
Lead strategic recruiting events and outreach initiativestobuild strongand sustainabletalent pipelines.
Pay Range:
$179,200.00 - $246,400.00Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
