The Boeing Company is looking for a Workforce Project Engineer to join the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Functional Chief Engineers Office Enterprise team in various locations. This is a hybrid role.

Boeing's Electronic and Electrical Engineering (E&EE) organization is seeking a motivated and highly skilled Project Engineer. Established in 2021, the E&EE organization is responsible for talent development, design practices and knowledge management, system integration with technical accountability, and driving continuous improvement through advanced tools and processes.

The successful candidate will report to the EEE Workforce Strategy Senior Manager and collaborate closely to lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of EEE training programs and skill content. This role directly supports Boeing's Engineering mission to deliver world-class engineering excellence through exceptional talent.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to people development and engagement, providing engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary team spanning various skill areas within EEE, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver effective training solutions for the EEE workforce.

Position Responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to play a key role in various efforts/initiatives including:

  • Lead planning, coordination, execution of detailed EEE workforce skill and knowledge strategies across multiple business units to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.
  • Accelerate establishment and implementation of an EEE development strategy that streamlines the growth and learning opportunities across the Enterprise.
  • Manage learning and training requirements and functional deliverables.
  • Enable engineering career pathing tools and resources aligned to enterprise strategy.
  • Maintain the EEE skill health and Boeing Designated Expert (BDE) framework.
  • Lead content development intended for the development of Electronic and Electrical Engineering talent by understanding program needs/priorities including detailed program and skill requirements.
  • Build relationships to gain support and commitment from others, promote ideas with enthusiasm, conviction, and assertiveness.
  • Communicate plans and strategies with senior/executive leadership
  • Drive results using appropriate processes, tools, schedules, metrics, and data analytics.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5 or more years' experiencemanaging or leading engineering teams.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers.
  • 5or more years' experience of working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with complex systems development and integration.
  • Experience with leading project execution to complete the work statement.
  • Excellent decision making, resourcefulness, and accountability
