The Senior Labor Analyst role serves as a senior operational resource supporting managers, enterprise projects, implementations, compliance initiatives, and strategic operational efforts across multiple functional areas. This position acts as a subject matter expert for workforce operations, labor processes, operational systems, and project support activities.

The role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support complex operational initiatives, process optimization efforts, implementation strategies, operational readiness activities, and enterprise operational objectives while helping drive consistency, scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency across supported areas.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a senior operational SME supporting managers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.

  • Lead or support complex operational projects, enterprise implementations, strategic initiatives, and operational readiness efforts.

  • Partner with Payroll, HR, Operations, Compliance, and system teams to support operational strategy and organizational objectives.

  • Provide advanced operational support across multiple Time & Labor Management functional areas based on business and project needs.

  • Support workforce operations including labor processes, payroll support activities, audit analysis, escalations, and operational issue resolution.

  • Support labor compliance activities and operational reviews to ensure adherence to company policy and applicable labor requirements.

  • Support project planning, implementation readiness, testing, validation, deployment activities, and post-implementation operational support.

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, implementation documentation, training resources, reporting tools, and operational reference materials.

  • Assist leadership with escalations, operational oversight activities, enterprise support efforts, and complex issue resolution.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members on operational processes, project support activities, and issue resolution.

  • Identify and communicate operational risks, dependencies, compliance concerns, and strategic improvement opportunities to leadership.

  • Designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive on‑site training programs for HR, employees, and supervisors to ensure consistent understanding and application of time and labor processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience in payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

  • Experience demonstrating intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Advanced experience supporting workforce operations, payroll, labor compliance, or timekeeping processes.

  • Experience serving as an SME for enterprise projects, implementations, or operational initiatives.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience.

  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills with experience analyzing large data sets and operational trends.

  • Experience supporting strategic operational improvements, implementations, or process optimization efforts.

  • SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI, automation, reporting, or workforce management systems experience.

  • Ability to manage complex operational priorities and support multiple functional areas simultaneously.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Greenville/Richardson, TX, Farmington, CT, or Cedar Rapids, IA.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
