ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

Registered Nurse - ICU/MED-SURG - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients in both the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical-Surgical unit. The role involves close monitoring of patient health, administering medications, and performing necessary medical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient vital signs and condition, administering medications as prescribed.
  • Assist with wound care, vent weaning, and care for spinal cord injuries.
  • Perform special procedures including trach/PEG care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
  • Provide patient education and support to families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an ICU or Med-Surg unit.
  • Valid RN license in South Carolina.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Epic charting experience is mandatory.
