We are seeking a talented and motivated Program Manager to join our team. The Program Manager (PM) position is responsible for the complete ownership of multiple projects. They will work with all functional groups to define, track, and maintain project scope, schedule, and budget, continuously monitoring these aspects through project completion. The Program Manager is a critical part of the customer relationship on custom products, ensuring effective communication and delivery of technical performance and schedule expectations.


The Program Manager (PM) position is responsible for the complete ownership of multiple projects. They will work with all functional groups to define, track, and maintain project scope, schedule, and budget, continuously monitoring these aspects through project completion. The Program Manager is a critical part of the customer relationship on custom products, ensuring effective communication and delivery of technical performance and schedule expectations.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage R&D and/or sustaining projects in all phases of the product development/change process (software, electrical, mechanical, supply chain, and manufacturing).
  • Own the program, ensuring a holistic view of the entire program and aligning functional areas to meet project milestones.
  • Communicate technical performance and schedule expectations for each custom product in conjunction with the sales management team.
  • Define internal and external project milestones and clearly communicate necessary dates and scope for each milestone.
  • Facilitate communication and provide direction to internal team leaders/members, ensuring alignment to meet project milestones.
  • Track changes to scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure all ISO requirements are met for the new product development process.
  • Create capital expenditure requests as necessary.
  • Advocate for the priority of projects when necessary and identify scheduling conflicts that may impact progress.
  • Prepare presentations and write reports to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of design or manufacturing experience in the electronics industry preferred.
  • Ability to tailor communication to an audience.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • General understanding of electrical circuits and software interactions.
  • Ability to be assertive and escalate issues as needed.
