What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead workforce transformation efforts for the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer organization. The Senior Consultant will lead a workstream in support of the development of strategic human capital plan and growth plan. Working under the direction of a Managing Consultant, the Senior will assist in analyzing workforce data and gleaning insights to inform the creation of a strategic human capital plan and growth plan related to transforming hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development processes among other functions.

The Senior Consultant have the following experience:

  • Supporting the assessment of human capital/workforce practices and strategies and designing accompanying implementations plans

  • Supporting the development of stakeholder engagement approaches and initiatives

  • Analyzing human capital data and gleaning insights regarding trends and opportunities

  • Assisting in the development of metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of workforce transformation efforts

  • Assisting in preparation of and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings

  • Supporting multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products

Supporting the preparation of a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leaders
What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree and at least

  • FIVE (5) or more years of relevant experience leading strategic workforce transformation efforts and directing the work of a team, with at least THREE (3) or more years of management consulting experience in workforce transformation.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications

  • Experience consulting for the DHS

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal

  • Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships

  • Experience working in DHS

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
