The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online or off campus and is subject to change as needed. Part-time faculty positions are as needed positions and do not accrue rights to tenure. Ability to adapt teaching pedagogy to the knowledge of each individual and class. Ability to self-reflect and respond to an evidence-based assessment of student learning. Demonstrated experience and commitment to integrating new technologies into the learning process, including but not limited to interactive technologies for on campus and on-line courses.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster's in nursing OR Bachelor's in nursing AND Master's in health education or health science OR the equivalent OR the minimum qualifications as set by the Board of Registered Nursing, whichever is higher. Local Equivalency Statement 1.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing AND 2. Minimum of three (3) years clinical practice in an acute medical-surgical area providing direct patient care and meet the requirements of the California Board of Registered Nursing. DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS Recent community college or lower division teaching experience.

Recent direct patient care experience. Proficiency in Online Instruction. Additional Information REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS A Long Beach Community College District application.
