Job description

Supports sustainment, modernization, workflow optimization, integration management, and operational support for the highly customized FEM IBM Maximo environment. This role is responsible for analyzing, configuring, developing, and sustaining maintenance workflows supporting depot maintenance operations, calibration management, work‑order execution, inventory tracking, costing functions, and maintenance scheduling activities.

The Maximo Engineer/FEM Specialist works closely with Product Owners, Functional SMEs, DevSecOps personnel, System Architects, and Enterprise Integration resources to evaluate workflow modernization opportunities, implement enhancements, optimize performance, and preserve operational continuity during modernization and release activities. Because FEM extends significantly beyond standard out-of-the-box Maximo capabilities, this role requires deep understanding of both Maximo platform engineering and Air Force maintenance workflow execution.
