Job description

Overview
The Court Reporting Manager oversees daily court reporting operations for a third-party litigation support vendor. This role coordinates freelance and staff stenographers, voice writers and electronic reporters and ensures timely delivery of transcripts, and maintains strict quality control for private depositions, arbitrations, and hearings.
Compensation for this role will be dependent upon candidate experience and qualifications. This is a salaried position with full-benefits. This is a remote position open to candidates in the Atlanta, GA metropolitan area. If preferred, position may be hybrid.

Responsibilities
  • Resource management: Oversees the assignment of qualified reporters and other staff to client depositions, arbitrations, and legal proceedings
  • Quality control: Reviews final transcripts for formatting, accuracy, and adherence to client specifications
  • Deadline tracking: Monitors production schedules to ensure expedited and standard delivery dates are met
  • Client relations: Serves as the primary point of contact for law firms regarding reporter scheduling and transcript issues
  • Vendor onboarding: Recruits, vets, and manages contracts for freelance certified shorthand, voice and electronic reporters

Qualifications
Required
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in litigation support, court reporting, or legal agency management
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or equivalent field experience
  • Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of court reporting procedures, transcript formats, and legal billing workflows
  • Skills: Exceptional scheduling proficiency using legal industry software and CRM tools

Preferred
  • Current or Recent experience specifically in the court reporting vertical
  • Experience using ReporterBase, Solaria or a similar workflow management tools
  • Strong contacts with independent reporters, videographers or affiliates throughout the US
  • Experience working collaboratively in a remote team environment
