Are you an experienced IT business analyst with a strong aptitude for technologies that could quickly adapt to support lab technologies and healthcare processes? Do you also bring a resiliency to adapt in a rapid paced and dynamic environment with shifting priorities? Health Shared Services is currently looking for IT Business Analyst for the Laboratory Systems Development team. The successful candidate will bring the ability to problem solve, brainstorm and solution with other dedicated individuals across multiple teams and stakeholders in a client driven, team-oriented environment. We need: self-directed professionals that can support Laboratory clients and contribute to short and long-term deliverables. The ability to consult, understand and document client business processes will be key to success in this role. The successful Business Analyst will bring clear communication with experience completing documentation (Example: functional specifications for new and existing systems). Working with the Laboratory Systems Development Team provide troubleshooting, testing, configuration, requirement gathering, documentation and training on inhouse developed software, to ensure the functioning of the many Laboratory supporting systems that we develop. Work spans all levels of complexity from simple to very complex. A successful candidate will demonstrate communication and technical writing skills. have excellent customer relations and support service experience. have experience gaining cooperation of a variety of stakeholders, including management, clinicians, physicians, and coworkers. As a Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests, provide advice and direction to clients, and contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, workflows and delivery for assigned projects and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Equivalencies for this position include Diploma, Degree or extensive experience in a software development environment. 1-5 years of experience in business analysis, system testing, or a related IT role. Technical Proficiency, familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools like Jira, MS Visio, or similar process modeling software. Analytical Mindset, the ability to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable technical tasks. Communication skills showing exceptional writing skills for technical documentation and strong presentation skills for user training. We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years related experience in a software development environment. Experience with laboratory or healthcare businesses. Experience with project implementation, including creating test plans, testing coordination, and documentation. Experience with automated testing tools and environments. Experience with SQL and general data queries /scripting.
