Sequel’s approach is to look at diabetes management holistically to advance systems that make living with diabetes simpler and easier for all. Sequel’s flagship product, the twiist Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) System, launched in July 2025 for people with type 1 diabetes providing them with personalized diabetes management.  
 
Job Overview:

Sequel Med Tech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to support the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of our NetSuite ERP system. This role is primarily focused on hands-on execution, including system configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and user support. 

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and experience working within NetSuite to support day-to-day operations. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders and internal teams to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and efficient functionality across the platform. 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance NetSuite modules to support business operations and evolving requirements. 

  • Own and manage day-to-day system tickets, including troubleshooting issues, fulfilling enhancement requests, and resolving defects. 

  • Support system upgrades, patches, and new feature releases, including testing and validation activities  

  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure appropriate security and compliance  

  • Customize forms, fields, records, and dashboards to meet functional needs. 

  • Develop and maintain saved searches, reports, and dashboards to support business visibility and decision-making. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including data discrepancies, integration failures, and performance concerns. 

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end users, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness  

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to resolve escalated issues. 

  • Support data integrity efforts across financials, inventory, and operational systems. 

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of integrations between NetSuite and other systems (e.g., HRIS, CRM, PLM)  

  • Utilize NetSuite APIs (REST, SOAP, SuiteTalk) and tools to support integrations and data flows. 

  • Monitor integration processes to ensure reliability and accuracy of data exchange.  

  • Build automation and efficiency improvements using SuiteFlow, SuiteApps, and scripting where applicable. 

  • Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to support operational continuity 

Minimum Requirements (Education and Experience):
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive systems engineering experience, including direct, hands-on support and administration of NetSuite ERP in a production environment. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency with JavaScript-based SuiteScript development, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk. 

  • Familiarity with financial processes (AP, AR, reporting) and SOX compliance. 

  • Experience supporting ERP systems in regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, life sciences, or manufacturing). 

  • Deep understanding of NetSuite modules such as Finance, CRM, Manufacturing, Procurement, and how they interrelate. 

  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11, and system validation best practices. (preferred) 

  • Experience building and maintaining integrations between NetSuite and external systems (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato). 

  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. 

  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. 

  • High attention to detail, collaboration, and customer‑service orientation. 

  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer). 

  • Experience with other cloud-based ERP solutions. (preferred) 

  • Project management experience. (preferred)
