Valet Attendant - Events


Clayton Valet is seeking prompt, polite, and professional individuals who are looking to provide top-tier customer service while showcasing exceptional driving skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both fast-paced and relaxed environments, and will be interested in enhancing the guest experience.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $17/hr starting + CASH TIPS

  • 401(k) 4% Match - available after 3 months of employment

  • Health/Vision/Dental/Life Insurance - available after working 1 year of FT hours

Shifts Available:

  • Flexible hours with multiple shifts available

  • Weekend availability required

  • Afternoon and evening shifts

  • Occasional morning shifts

  • Clayton, MO

  • St. Charles, MO

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently park and retrieve customer vehicles without incident

  • Safely control the flow of traffic during non-driving events

  • Assist guests with any personal belongings, if requested

  • Promote good customer relations by providing service with a friendly demeanor, willingness to help, and a smile

  • Use and maintain valet equipment properly, including keeping the gear and work area clean and organized

  • Observe and practice safety precautions at all times

  • Remain prompt by standing during a full shift, excluding scheduled breaks

  • Open doors for all guests

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check - no felonies

  • Must have a clean driving record within the last 3 years

  • Must pass a driving and parking test

  • Consistently display safe driving practices and a complete understanding of vehicle basics

  • Must be available for All Hands on Deck (AHOD) events

  • Practice safe cash handling and make correct change, if necessary

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Must be proficient in English, both verbally and in writing

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Always maintain a clean and professional appearance

  • Able to perform physical activities such as running, bending, and lifting up to 30lbs

  • Must be able to work in all elements (i.e., rain, snow, sunshine)

  • Must have transportation or understanding of MetroBus/MetroLink schedule

  • Tattoos must be concealable
