DUTIES:Teach one or more subjects within the framework of the study required by student enrollment.Utilize various teaching methods to diversify instruction.Participate in designated professional learning; teachers will be expected to model and implement practices addressed in professional learning within the classroom setting.Instruct students in subject matter, utilizing all available technology resources and programs.Promote student engagement through active participation and continual assessment of student progress.Promote a conducive learning environment that encourages student-centered learning.Efficiently manage instructional time.Effectively manage the behavior of learners for the integrity of the learning environment; assist in the management of student behavior in other parts of the school or school grounds.Work within a team, self -contained or itinerant capacity as assigned; teachers will work collaboratively in horizontal and vertical teams to review assessment data and modify instruction to improve student achievement.Maintain current and accurate student grades and attendance records.Maintain communication with parents to keep them informed of student progress and behavior.Effectively supervise teacher assistant's performance, if applicable.Meet the performance and behavioral expectations of the site director.Performs tasks in accordance with the teacher evaluation system.Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.Primary Location- Marion CountySalary Range - $40.00 Per HourShift Type- Part-Time
