This position requires IN- PERSON work in the College of Nursing building during general business hours. Flexible around classes. You’ll need to be available 10-20 hours per week in windows of time between typically 2+ hours in length, as coordinated between you and the supervisor.

Job Summary

Assist office staff in various functions. Provide general office support. Review and process documents and requests for information, maintain files, enter data and distribute mail. Work with staff and faculty, have access to leaders in academics, research and medical care, gain experience in managing documents, spreadsheets and information.

Responsibilities

  1. Greet visitors to the building including students, parents, and guests.

  2. Answer, screen and route incoming telephone calls.

  3. Answer inquiries that may require a search for accurate information or records.

  4. Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.

  5. Help prepare for special events such as recruitment events, end of program celebrations.

  6. Other relevant duties as requested.
