Job Summary
The Work Study Student will support the Human Resources Records and Compliance area as an Office Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Employment is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to students, staff, and visitors
• Runs campus errands
• Assists staff as needed while monitoring assigned facilities
• Completes general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, scanning documents, and data entry
• Utilizes a multiline phone system to answer and transfer telephone calls
• Provides tier I-level customer service
• Tables events on behalf of the department

Shift Specifics

• Up to 25 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability
• Shifts available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Other Required Qualifications

• Must be Federal Work eligible.

Proposed Salary
$12.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
