~ Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in an office environment
~ Must maintain a 2.5-grade point average.
~ Able to work a minimum of 10 - 20 hours per week
~ Must receive or be eligible to receive Federal Work Study
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
• Receive and route deliveries to appropriate offices and staff.
• Provide administrative support, including:
• Filing and document organization
• Preparing mailings
• Assisting with assembling program materials and supply kits
• Support financial and administrative operations by assisting with PCard reconciliation, travel documentation, and expense report preparation.
• Assist with taking and organizing notes from monthly meetings.
• Support office operations through various administrative tasks as assigned.
Expected Salary:
$15 per hour
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have:
~ A current Federal Work Study (FWS) award
~ Reliable transportation to UF East Campus at 2140 NE Waldo Road, Gainesville, FL 32609
~ Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in an office environment
~ Must maintain a 2.5-grade point average.
~ Able to work a minimum of 10 - 20 hours per week
~ Must receive or be eligible to receive Federal Work Study
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data entry and administrative recordkeeping
• Experience working with travel documentation, expense reports, or financial records preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including:

  • Teams

• Experience using Adobe Acrobat and other Adobe applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
