About the Role

Techy is a national phone and electronics repair franchise with 300 retail service centers inside BrandsMart USA locations across South Florida. We are actively hiring for 3 locations and looking for skilled, motivated Repair Technicians to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be diagnosing and repairing smartphones, tablets, and consumer electronics for walk-in customers in a high-traffic retail environment.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair cell phones, tablets, and consumer electronics (screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and more)
  • Handle warranty-based repairs on behalf of insurance providers
  • Deliver fast, professional, and friendly customer service
  • Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and job completion in our system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service area
  • Upsell accessories and protection plans when appropriate

Requirements

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (Good to have — our customer base is highly diverse)
  • Prior experience repairing cell phones or consumer electronics (Good to have)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between South Florida locations as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Honest, punctual, and customer-focused attitude

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with insurance or warranty repair programs
  • Haitian Creole a plus (Miami Gardens location)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
