Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement custom programming solutions for Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, and other AV control systems. This role requires a deep understanding of AV integration, control system logic, DSP configuration, and delivering intuitive, reliable user experiences for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, test, and deploy control systems using Crestron (SIMPL, SIMPL+, VTPro-e, Crestron Studio, or VC-4).
  • Configure and tune DSP platforms such as Biamp Tesira, QSC Q-SYS, and other audio processors.
  • Develop user interfaces for touch panels, mobile devices, and web control.
  • Integrate AV systems with third-party devices and network environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and support installed AV systems, both onsite and remotely.
  • Maintain documentation of programming standards, code libraries, and workflows.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in AV programming and integration.
  • Strong proficiency in Crestron programming tools; certifications a plus (CTI-P101, CTI-P201, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Extron Global Scripter, QSC Q-SYS Designer, and Biamp Tesira software.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, QoS).
  • Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings, signal flow, and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Crestron Certified Programmer

  • Q-SYS Level 2/3
