Job Summary
This is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. This position requires employees who are able to positively represent this Office and the College to various internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
The student employee must have effective writing, verbal communication, and Microsoft Office skills. Student employees must have a high level of integrity as they may come into contact with confidential information. The student may serve as the first point of contact for students, guests and families visiting the Student Solution Center. This position will assist in answering in-bound and out-bound calls for the College's main line as well as the Offices of Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Testing, Academic Advising, Housing and Admissions. Work Study students will aid Solution Center Specialist in their daily operations of the Center and other duties assigned.
The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student's class schedule. The work schedule is subject to change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to students while completing forms and other related tasks. -
- Perform clerical duties
- Run errands at the discretion of the supervisor
- Assist with special projects
- Provide assistance to students while completing forms, applications, and federal and state websites.
- Support campus outreach efforts to educate students on the services and resources provided by the Student Solution Center.
- Perform any related work as required
Required Qualifications

-Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times
-Must have Federal Work Study funds awarded on your Coast Award letter
-Must upload your Coast Award Letter when prompted to do so
-May not be employed in more than one job at a time on campus
Proposed Salary
$9.00/hour
