Work Schedule: 6 Hr (8:00:00 AM - 4:30:00 PM)

Pay Range:  $16-$18 per hour

The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.

Summary:
The Work Study Student at a Community Partner Site is responsible for assisting with administrative duties within the clinical setting. These duties may include basic client care, clerical, or administrative work as assigned by the Director of Faculty Practice and/ or the primary clinical site Faculty Practice clinician. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications Include:
•An interest in working with vulnerable populations in the community setting
•Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
•CPR certification
•Graduation date is at least one year out.
Experience:
•Experience working in a community or mental health setting preferred, not required
•For some sites, Spanish or Polish speaker preferred.

Responsibilities:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities may include:
•Obtain and record vital sign information
•Assist with client flow through the clinical site
•Complete other clinical tasks under the supervision of the clinic RN or APN
•Assist with clerical or administrative tasks for wellness programming
•Work with the APRN or RN to identify health promotion needs of the community and identify interventions
•Perform outreach to educate the community and recruit participants for health programs
•Contact community partners to schedule and plan health promotion events
