Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The dean of students, under moderate supervision, performs intermediate-level work with limited decision-making discretion while administering student discipline.  Responsibilities include overseeing discipline plans and programs that enable students to acquire the social and interpersonal skills necessary for academic achievement.  Employee performs complex work (disciplinary and instructional) to carry out policies and procedures under the direction of the building-level principal.
