Job description

Job Summary:
AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dynamic and organized Student Supervisor to oversee operations at Bob Jones University. As a Student Supervisor, you will lead a team of student employees, ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen facilities while providing exceptional customer service to the university community.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise student workers in washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dish machines or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
- Assign tasks to student employees and oversee their completion.
- Assist in receiving product deliveries from vendors and organizing stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during shift hours.
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of student workers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing work.
