Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Students must:
  • possess good written and verbal communication skills, organization and time management skills, and basic phone etiquette.
  • have basic familiarity with MS Office products, such as Word, Excel and Outlook, and office equipment.
  • have successfull completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience

Summary of Duties:
Student employment provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while supporting campus programs and services.
In this position, the student will
  • Provide administrative and records management support by processing and maintaining student records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry, transcript processing, document imaging, file retrieval, and records organization using institutional systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Support daily office operations by collecting and distributing mail, filing documents, operating standard office equipment, and assisting with special projects.
  • Contribute to Gateway recruitment and student engagement events by assisting with event preparation, setup and teardown, staffing welcome tables, and providing basic information and customer service to prospective students and their families.
