Student Council Sponsor at Weld Central High School for 2026-2027
The Student Council Sponsor provides leadership, guidance, and supervision for the high school student council organization. This position supports students in planning school events and developing leadership skills. The sponsor works collaboratively with students, staff, administration, and the community to promote school spirit, positive culture, and meaningful student involvement in school activities and service.
Requirements:
  • Valid teaching certificate/license preferred
  • Experience working with high school students
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience with event planning or student activities preferred
  • Background check required upon hire
Terms of Employment:
  • Time Commitment: Approximately 150-200 hours per school year; some summer work
  • $2,325 stipend based on Level 4 of the Extra Duty Pay Schedule
  • This is an extra duty stipend position, and is subject to approval or ratification by the Board of Education and may be terminated by either party with or without cause at any time
