Job description

We are seeking motivated Commercial Solar Installers to support commercial roof mount projects throughout the central valley. Ideal candidates will have hands-on commercial solar experience and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Description:

  • Assist with transporting and staging solar materials, modules, and equipment on rooftop job sites
  • Install and assemble PV racking systems, modules, and ballast systems in accordance with project plans
  • Perform DC wiring and panel connections, including pulling wire and wire management
  • Support installation of AC/DC systems, including basic conduit work and electrical runs
  • Secure modules and system components using hand and power tools
  • Ensure proper layout and alignment of solar arrays per engineered drawings
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites, including material management and debris removal
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines while working at heights
  • Collaborate with crew leads and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Required Skills:

  • Solar installation and construction experience
  • Wiring and pulling wire (DC preferred; AC experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with roof mount and commercial solar systems
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Basic understanding of commercial solar installation practices
  • Ability to run conduit and assist with electrical tasks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of commercial solar experience
  • Prior roof mount installation experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow basic construction drawings

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delano, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
