Hydraulic Service Technician - Mechanical and Hydraulic Experience Required

Rio Controls & Hydraulics is expanding in the locations listed below. Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems and components
Read blueprints and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problem

  1. Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of hydraulic systems
  2. Welding, metal fabrication and electrical assembly
  3. Provide drawing review and suggestions to investigate and repair of hydraulic equipment
  4. Disassemble and reassembly hydraulic components
  5. Operate drill press, lathe, grinders, or other machines to modify parts

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in fabrication and assembly/repair of hydraulic systems
  2. Ability to effectively read hydraulic schematics.
  3. Experience with different hydraulic components, both service and troubleshooting
  4. Experience with replacing seals and repair of hydraulic cylinders
  5. Must be willing to work odd hours in a non - climate control and onboard towboats, tugboats, offshore supply vessel, 24-7-365
