• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain an understanding of each patient's unique trauma history, which allows for personalized treatment approaches.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, using evidence-based methodologies.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) tailored to address specific patient needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support as needed in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stability.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while highlighting available resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights on trauma-informed care best practices.
• Continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy.

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities tailored to support trauma recovery.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with patients.
• Proficient in managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for client management.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions tailored to varied patient needs.
• A demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective in challenging, high-stress situations.
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, contributing to team-based patient care.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
