Job Description:

We Are Seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Analyst to serve as a technical expert in quality assurance, software testing, and application quality standards. This role will lead and perform comprehensive testing activities to ensure IT systems, products, and services meet established quality, functionality, and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing and executing test scenarios, managing defects, analyzing workflows, and collaborating closely with development and technical support teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The position will also contribute to improving QA practices, documentation, training, and overall software quality.

Responsibilities:

·         Act as a technical expert and information resource for assigned quality assurance and testing areas.

·         Plan, lead, and execute comprehensive testing activities to ensure systems, products, and services meet established standards and requirements.

·         Collaborate closely with application development teams throughout software development, operations, technical support, and security activities.

·         Develop and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases using DevOps or comparable tools.

·         Create complex test data to support application testing and validation.

·         Execute test cases manually and document testing results, findings, and supporting evidence.

·         Identify, document, and report software defects and track them through resolution.

·         Lead and administer change control processes to support high-quality, defect-free software releases.

·         Perform complex workflow analysis and identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.

·         Recommend new and improved QA practices, procedures, standards, and methodologies.

·         Support automated testing initiatives and develop scripted test cases using appropriate testing tools.

·         Prepare QA documentation, manuals, training materials, and training curriculum.

·         Conduct QA-related training sessions and provide guidance to team members as needed.

·         Provide technical resources and support for technical writers developing system and QA documentation.

·         Prepare and provide weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly status reports as required.

·         Regularly communicate project status, testing results, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

·         Perform related testing, quality assurance, and analytical duties as assigned.

Required Skills

·         5+ years of QA testing experience.

·         5+ years of experience writing test scenarios and test cases using DevOps or comparable tools.

·         5+ years of experience executing test cases manually.

·         5+ years of experience reporting, documenting, and tracking software defects using DevOps or comparable tools.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and workflow analysis skills.

·         Ability to develop complex test data and analyze detailed testing results.

·         Ability to collaborate effectively with software developers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and management.

·         Experience with software quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices.

·         Experience with change control and software release processes.

·         3+ years of experience scripting test cases using UFT One or a similar automated testing tool — Desired.
