Role: Lead ASME PED Engineer

Location: Remote (USA)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Visa Type: USC / GC Only

✅ Must-Have Qualifications:

✔ 8–10 years of experience in ASME Pressure Vessel Design and Pressure Equipment Engineering

✔ Strong expertise in ASME Section VIII design calculations and pressure vessel design standards

✔ Hands-on experience with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and CE compliance requirements

✔ Experience determining PED Categories (I–IV) based on design parameters and classification calculations

✔ Strong knowledge of Certified Material Test Reports (CMTRs) and material compliance verification

✔ Experience preparing, reviewing, and updating Particular Material Appraisals (PMAs)

✔ Hands-on experience performing design calculations for various materials (e.g., SA-479) in accordance with ASME codes

✔ Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for modifying engineering drawings, labels, and CE-marked vessel nameplates

✔ Experience conducting Risk & Hazard Analysis (RHA) for pressure equipment based on design and intended use

✔ Experience reviewing and updating Instructions for Use (IFU) to ensure compliance with PED and RHA requirements

✔ Strong understanding of engineering documentation, compliance assessments, and design validation processes

✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
