Clinical Pharmacist Advisor – Medicare Part D (Remote)


Location: Fully Remote (U.S. based)
Pay Rate: $57.31/hr (W2)
Duration: 6 months contract (extension/full-time possible)

About the Role

Join a leading healthcare organization as a Clinical Pharmacist Advisor supporting Medicare Part D members and providers. In this remote role, you’ll review pharmacy benefit requests, ensure compliance with CMS/Medicare guidelines, and provide clinical expertise while delivering a best-in-class service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process Medicare Part D pharmacy benefit requests.

  • Apply clinical judgment using compendia, Medicare guidance, and CMS timelines.

  • Document cases accurately and completely.

  • Communicate with providers for additional clinical information when needed.

  • Maintain productivity and quality standards in a remote environment.

Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License (in good standing, state of residence).

  • PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.

  • Experience with Medicare Part D required.

  • Prior Managed Care / PBM experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Strong data entry, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Schedule
  • Training (first 8 weeks): M-F, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (attendance required).

  • Post-Training Shifts (rotation):

    • Mon–Fri: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST

    • Sat–Sun: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
