Part-Time Intake Counselor- Fully Remote, no caseload with Flexible Hours! (LMHC/LCSW/LICSW/LADC/CADC)
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Part Time Intake Counselor to join our busy Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. This fully remote position plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely access to care through comprehensive assessments, care coordination, and scheduling support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Bio-Psychosocial Assessments (BPSAs) for:
    • New admissions
    • Readmissions
    • Existing patients requiring reassessment
  • Gather and document clinical, psychosocial, medical, substance use, and treatment history information.
  • Assess patient needs and determine appropriate level of care and treatment recommendations.
  • Coordinate patient placement and assign patients to counselors based on patient & program needs.
  • Schedule follow up appointments and ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with counseling, medical, and administrative teams to facilitate a seamless intake process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company, regulatory, and payer requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while engaging patients during the intake process.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field preferred.
  • Must hold active MA: LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LADC, CADC
  • Experience conducting assessments in substance use disorder, behavioral health, or MAT settings preferred.
  • Strong clinical interviewing, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and virtual communication platforms.

Salary Range:
Salary ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 an hour.
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training.
