Job description

Overview
The Boomi Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Boomi workflows that integrate TierPoint's critical back-office systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integrations using Boomi's platform, ensuring seamless connectivity between various internal and external enterprise systems. You'll join a diverse IT team that spans technologies and specialties to deliver excellent internal and external customer service to TierPoint and our customers.
Responsibilities
  • Design system integration patterns based on TierPoint's Enterprise Architecture integration bus via Boomi.
  • Develop and maintain multi-stage workflows and event streams to ensure transactional and master data is kept up to date.
  • Build, deploy, and manage processes in Boomi Atmosphere. You'll be building and deploying to a multi-Molecule based architecture.
  • Analyze integration requirements, performance gap analysis, and source and target system data.
  • Provide ongoing production support to internal customers and the broader Enterprise Architecture organization.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integration solutions to guarantee high reliability and performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams for implemented integrations and processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team regarding best practices for Boomi-based integrations.
  • Contribute and maintain TierPoint's Boomi DataHub

Qualifications
  • Requires 3+ years of proven experience working with Boomi.
  • Experience with Master Data Hub or similar technology.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data normalization, and data translation
  • Strong understanding of web API technologies and design patterns
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to find creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in various integration patterns, data mapping, and transformation techniques.
  • Understand Boomi Master Data Hub and its integration and data flow principles.
  • Customer service focused, portrays energy, professionalism, and welcoming characteristics.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services for integration with external systems.
  • Strong ability to work in a highly sensitive and confidential environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle sensitive and pressured situations.
  • Ability to identify issues and help develop strategy and tactical plans for various department initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules. Proactive, self-motivated, and independent.
  • Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline/experience.
  • Experience integrating via Boomi with one or more of the following systems
