Job description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in HVAC system repair, replacement, and maintenance.

Position Summary

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. It also includes proposing, and selling replacement equipment when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and light commercial properties

  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on HVAC equipment to identify issues

  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively

  • Perform heat load calculations, and sell replacement equipment when necessary

  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during service calls

  • Collaborate with team members on field service projects and design installations

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations


Ideal Candidate Traits:
  • Proven experience in HVAC systems installation, sales, service, and maintenance.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of systems.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous sales and service experience preferred, but not required.

Compensation Structure

Pay is $24-29/hour, commensurate with experience. You'll get performance and company bonus opportunities, commission, and overtime pay.

Schedule is Monday to Friday. On call and overtime + year round work.
