As a remote counselor in a supportive outpatient office setting, you will leverage technology to connect with clients, utilizing secure electronic medical records and video conferencing tools for effective communication. • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client needs, history, and presenting concerns, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions through video conferencing, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring clients receive holistic, coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in adherence to HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain up-to-date with current mental health practices and methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of programs aimed at addressing community mental health needs through feedback and innovative ideas.
• Provide crisis intervention support to clients facing acute distress, employing techniques to manage safety and emotional regulation.
• Promote therapeutic techniques that foster resilience and coping strategies across various client populations.

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics. • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
• Demonstrated experience in therapeutic practices and client engagement.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development.

• Minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and telehealth solutions is an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a capacity for empathy, allowing for meaningful connections with clients.
• A solid understanding of cultural competence, enabling effective treatment across diverse populations.
