What does a work from home CMA RMA do?

A typical day for a Work From Home CMA RMA involves remotely assisting physicians and healthcare teams by managing patient communications, scheduling, virtual patient intake, and follow-up tasks. Duties may include documenting patient histories in EHRs, providing instructions for telehealth visits, and coordinating lab orders or medication refills. You’ll often collaborate virtually with clinical staff, physicians, and patients, so regular check-ins and video meetings are common. While the work is independent, strong teamwork and adaptability are key to managing tasks efficiently and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
