This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to provide mental health services to students through a telehealth platform. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in providing mental health services through our telehealth platform. While you will have the ability to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home, our work culture emphasizes collaboration, making use of technology to connect with both students and team members effectively. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive mental health service coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, taking into account each student's personal history and specific challenges they face.
  • Devise and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, focusing on enhancing emotional resilience and effective coping strategies.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, drawing from modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to address a variety of mental health issues.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for personal growth and shared learning among students.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care.
  • Respond to mental health crises using de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support, ensuring access to higher levels of care as necessary.
  • Educate students and their families about mental health issues and resources available within the community to promote understanding and intervention options.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
