Fall 2026 Internship Description

ADL's Desert Region team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from September 14 to December 18, 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience with program planning. Our Desert Region internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with incident response, program administration, research, report and correspondence writing, database management, assisting with meeting and event planning, community outreach and other duties as assigned.

The Regional Operations Intern will work directly with Regional Staff on projects relating to incident response, community engagement, hate crimes, extremist groups, antisemitism, law enforcement outreach and general regional operations. Projects involve incident response, program administration, research, report and correspondence writing, database management, assisting with meeting and event planning, community outreach and other duties as assigned. Desert Region intern will assist in program planning and implementation of Rising Above Together conference.

Application portals will close at 12PM ET on August 14th, 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-August.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Assist Regional Staff in conference programming planning and implementation
  • Assist Regional Staff in responding to antisemitic incidents reported to our regional office, including outreach to constituents and data entry.
  • Conduct outreach to community members and leaders on an ADL issue of concern
  • Provide administrative support for special events and board or community meetings.
  • Assist Regional Staff in implementing marketing initiatives, including regular updates of social media and other materials.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for non-profit work
  • Desire to start building career within non-profit sector

Compensation and Hours:

  • This internship is paid at local minimum wage or $15/hr (whichever is higher).
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.
  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in Las Vegas.

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with incident response, program administration, research, report and correspondence writing, database management and more.
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to "stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all."
