Job description

Jackson and Coker is seeking a locum tenens OB/GYN Physician for ongoing pager call coverage in Virginia, starting as soon as credentialed. This role primarily involves managing established patients with occasional unassigned ED/admissions, with opportunities for sporadic clinic work. The position offers a chance to provide essential women's health services within a supportive environment.

Practice Info

  • EMR: EPIC
  • One OR in L&D, 4 rooms in OR; C-sections typically done in L&D
  • Weekend average of 2 to 3 callbacks
  • Primarily established patients with occasional unassigned ED/admissions

Responsibilities

  • Provide call coverage
  • Help in the clinic if possible
  • Perform vaginal and cesarean delivery
  • Perform circumcision
  • Perform hysteroscopy
  • Perform D&C
  • Perform hysterectomy
  • Perform ovarian cystectomy
  • Manage missed/incomplete abortion
