Job description

Bocage Racquet Club looking for top notch individuals who are dependable and have a positive can-do attitude.

We are looking to immediately hire 1 part-time Housekeeping Attendant.  Shifts are 1pm to 9pm Mon-Fri and weekends.  Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.

Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning the Clubhouse and surrounding facilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Work as directed to support the mission and values of the Bocage Racquet Club 

Dust furniture, light fixtures, pictures and other items as needed

Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including showers; restocks restroom supplies

Vacuum and mop floors throughout the club including dining areas

Sweep patio area and remove dust from patio furniture

Empty all trashcans throughout the club

Clean and polish brass as needed

Wash windows and shampoo carpet

Report any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the Housekeeping manager

Polish glass, table surfaces, counters and door handles

Conduct deep-cleaning projects as needed

Transports towels to and from the laundry room.  Washing and folding.

Completes other appropriate assignments made Housekeeping Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform strenuous work lifting, pushing pulling, bending, stooping and climbing

Knowledge of how to maintain, clean and preserve a wide variety of building and furniture, fixtures and equipment surfaces

Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies; use as directed

Needs to work alone and with others
