Musicians’ Repair & Sales is seeking a full-time Instrument Repair Technician to join our growing team in downtown Indianapolis. We are currently hiring both Woodwind and Brasswind technicians who are passionate about craftsmanship, music education, and helping musicians perform at their best.


Woodwind Repair Technicians

  • Diagnose and repair student rental and professional woodwind instruments
  • Adjust and eliminate air leaks
  • Align keys and regulate mechanisms
  • Install and seat pads using the shellac technique
  • Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and play-condition assessments

Brasswind Repair Technicians

  • Diagnose and repair student rental and professional brass instruments
  • Perform chemical cleanings
  • Align and fit slides and valves
  • Remove dents using a variety of techniques
  • Assess instrument condition and perform general maintenance
