Position Description
Position Summary:
Martin K. Eby Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of skilled carpentry tasks on commercial construction projects, including forming, framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, and installation of building accessories.
Position Requirements
Essential Functions:
  • Set formwork for walls, paving, and suspended decks
  • Perform metal stud wall framing
  • Assemble and install rough framing
  • Hang drywall
  • Set windows, doors, frames, and hardware
  • Install trim and casing
  • Install wood blocking, fiber reinforced panels, toilet partitions, and accessories
  • Set windows

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1+ years of carpentry experience required, including formwork
  • Ability to take direction and work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Follow company safety policies and actively participate in safety training programs
  • Perform tasks using methods and procedures appropriate to skill level
  • Maintain and operate tools and equipment including circular saws, table saws, jig saws, reciprocating saws, routers, nail guns, power-actuated tools, hammer drills, and drills
  • Must provide own tools necessary to perform the essential functions of the job
