Registered Behavior Technician- Union County New Jersey

At WonDIRful Play, we create a space for your child to step up his game and reach goals that previously seemed out of reach. With our team of highly trained professionals behind you, we'll be celebrating milestones together soon. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll play a vital role in providing in-home, or daycare-based therapy for children with developmental disabilities in Union County, NJ.

About the Role:

As an RBT, you'll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client's quality of life. Our ideal RBT will collaborate with families, caregivers, and the clinical team to ensure each child reaches their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
• Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client
• Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for community and in-home services)
• Clean background check required for working with children and families

Salary:

Competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $20 - $27 hourly.
