Job description

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i's leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women's Center and the Women's Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

Founded on the philosophy of empowering women to take charge of their health, Kapi'olani Women's Centers have been helping women to take good care of themselves and their families for years. Through the Women's Centers, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services at our two convenient locations in Honolulu and Aiea. Kapi'olani Women's Centers are the only O'ahu facilities to be named Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The Centers rank among the top five percent in the nation. Other areas of health care at the Women's Center include: bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, women's counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living.

If you are detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills, you form part of the team that is responsible for the day-to-day operation and efficiency of the Women's Center.
