Description

We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and compassionate physical therapist to join our group. The pelvic floor physical therapist will manage female patients with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse. Patient management includes evaluations, follow-up visits, postoperative assessment, and implementation of non-surgical treatment modalities. 

 
The pelvic floor physical therapist joining our team will take a compassionate approach when working with women experiencing pelvic floor disorders. The PT in this position must be open to collaborating within our care model at Woman Worx, partnering with health and wellness experts as well as alternative therapy specialists to provide the best possible treatment. Additionally, the therapist should be willing to undergo training in Urostym therapy and Sola Therapy for patient care. 


WomanWoRx by Minnesota Women's Care is a pelvic floor clinic and fitness center for women. WomanWoRx provides a unique, holistic approach to women's health & wellness for women with pelvic floor issues. WomanWoRx blends clinical care of physical therapy, exercise physiology (personal training and fitness classes), and other alternative therapies. We are a multi-disciplinary team specializing in physical therapy, exercise physiology, chiropractic, fitness, health education, wellness, women's health, and more. We are passionate about delivering the best conservative care for women with pelvic floor disorders. This position will be a key leader in our collaborative care model within WomanWorx, a division of Minnesota Women's Care. 


Urogynecology is a relatively new specialty, and because of that, there are few providers in the Twin Cities compared to other medical specialties. Minnesota Women's Care has more board-certified urogynecologists on staff than any other private group in the Twin Cities. In addition, because of our commitment to providing the most personalized care to each of our patients, our providers offer a distinctive level of care.



Job Type: Full-time preferred 


Job Location: We have three clinics across the Minneapolis metro: Maplewood, Woodbury, and Apple Valley. This position will float between Woodbury and Maplewood. Some Apple Valley availability could be offered if space allows. 




Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed physical therapist (MN)
  • Experience in women's health/pelvic floor setting is preferred, but we are open to new graduates! 
  • A fitness background is strongly preferred.

Training:

  • Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1, APTA Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Level 1 or comparable course preferred
