Team supervisor oversees the Women in Recovery CCBHC peer recovery support, case management, and parenting educator team with a focus on clients involved with the criminals justice system. Clients in this population present with high needs and barriers to resources and services. Team will serve female adult clients, age 18 and older, that are diagnosed with a substance use disorder. Team will provide a combination of office and/or field-based services with potential transportation of clients using agency or personal vehicles as determined by needs of consumers and/or program.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and support daily operations of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise assigned staff including case managers, care coordinators, PRSS, and administrative support.
  • Conduct regular team huddles and case staffing to ensure coordinated care delivery.
  • Ensure team performance and service delivery align with organizational expectations.
  • Ensure services are accessible, timely, and client centered.
  • Lead efforts to engage hard-to-reach clients and those with high-risk needs.
  • Facilitate referrals and integration with physical health, psychiatric, and other supportive services.
  • Address clients' needs promptly, including medical, housing, and crisis-related support.
  • Analyze and disseminate data to guide service planning and staff priorities.
  • Use service utilization and quality metrics to inform client care and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate reporting and identify gaps or trends.
  • Monitor staff caseloads and adjust assignments to maintain equity and efficiency.
  • Identify barriers to service delivery and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, state, and payer documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal departments and leadership.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary planning and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Advocate for staffing and resource needs in collaboration with leadership.

Requirements
  • Will consider candidates with Bachelors degree in mental health with 5+ years experience in the field or Master's degree in a mental health or related specialty.
  • Supervisory and program management experience is desirable.
  • Must posses a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.

CCBHC Model of Care
Family & Children's Services works to heal hurting and abused children, strengthen families, and provide hope and a path to recovery for those battling mental illness and addiction. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment using a new transformative model of care Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This model is characterized by innovative, team-based approach and whole person care for adults and children with a range of complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Utilizing multi-disciplinary teams, staff work collaboratively to provide a coordinated effort to enhance client recovery. Robust CCBHC services often result in better client outcomes and quality of care due to:
  1. Increased access to care and crisis services
  2. Expanded traditional community mental health and substance use services.
  3. Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients
  4. Greater access to Social Services for clients' economic and social needs
  5. Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.
