Job description

Morning Star II is an OASAS-licensed, support residential program for adult women in recovery from substance use, that accommodates both the women and their pre-school age children.  We are seeking a recovery advocate to provide peer support to the women both when they reside at Morning Star and after they leave to reside in the community.

  • Provide orientation to program, service providers
  • Assist with data collection during and after their stay at the residence
  • Maintain contact with residents post-discharge, including assistance as needed with connecting with community services

Qualifications:

  • Women in recovery with experience similar to Morning Star residents
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Recovery Peer Advocate - Provisional certification acceptable, Full certification preferred.
